TENS Units Pain Relief Through Natural Health,
Balanced Living, Meditation, and 10 Simple Breaths—Simply Breathe
What is TENS?
A TENS unit is a small device that uses mild electrical current to stimulate nerves for alternative healing benefits. It is safe and easy to use at home or in the office. Compare devices for pain relief and muscle stimulation. TENS stands for Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation. It works by sending stimulating pulses across the surface of the skin and along the nerve strands for pain relief and muscle relaxation. A soothing vibration passes through the skin by using stick-on pads placed the skin--nothing pierces the skin. TENS units are applied to bring ease and relief to affected areas of the body, often used on the shoulders and lower back.
Simple Tens is about pain relief. Learn to manage pain naturally through TENS units, EMS devices, meditation, breathing, and relaxation for pain relief, muscle tension, stress, and headaches.
