10. Call Center Representative
Companies that provide customer support by phone need knowledgeable workers to answer calls. These independent contractors often work from home. These “virtual call centers” route incoming calls to your home. Most companies provide scripts that help to answer customers’ questions. When you answer, you may read from a prepared set of prompts or instructions.
9. The Virtual Assistant
Businesses need office support and sometimes find it more cost-effective to hire contract workers. This work involves administrative assistance, scheduling, bookkeeping, event planning, and sometimes shopping. This work that can often be done from your home office.
